SleepWave is designed to work with minimal data collection:
- Audio Playback: The App plays bundled or streamed ambient/white-noise/nature sound tracks. We do not require access to your personal photos, contacts, or files to operate the App.
- Favorites & Preferences: Any sounds you mark as favorites, your selected theme, and your sleep timer settings are stored locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to our servers.
- Permissions: The App may request notification permissions (to alert you when a sleep timer ends) and storage/network permissions only where required to download or cache sound content for offline playback. These permissions are used solely for in-app functionality.
3. Third-Party Services (Advertising)
While we do not collect personally identifiable information directly, the App may use third-party services that collect information used to serve advertisements.
- Google AdMob: We use Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob automatically collects certain device information, such as your IP address, device identifiers (like Android Advertising ID), and usage data, to provide personalized or non-personalized ads. 4. Data Security
Your favorites, settings, and downloaded sound preferences remain stored locally on your device and under your control. We do not have access to this locally-stored data.

Our App does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
